Actual Gate Length (Gate Trigger)

(Time based Input Domain Power Spectrum measurements only)

Displays the actual length of time in seconds of the acquisition data acquired and used for a step in the spectrum once the gate trigger condition occurs. This may be different from the desired Length parameter if the current resolution bandwidth cannot achieve the specific Length value (in which case the actual length used will be what is needed to achieve the resolution bandwidth).

Actual Gate Length is a channelized parameter. Select a channel from the drop-down arrow to the right of the parameter to view the Actual Gate Length for that channel. Hover your cursor over the drop-down arrow to display a tooltip with a brief description and messaging about the current measurement channel values.
