Trace Time (Markers)

Menu Path: Markers > Position

For markers on spectrograms, Trace Time specifies where the marker is located in time. Zero seconds corresponds to the time the measurement was started.

Normal and delta markers are confined to the current trace selected by Trace Select. Therefore, all normal and delta markers' Trace Time, which reflects the time location of the marker, will always show the time of the current trace.

When a Trace Timevalue is specified for a normal or a delta marker, Trace Select will be set to the closest trace in the spectrogram trace buffer and Trace Time will be updated to show the time position of the selected trace.

Since fixed markers are not confined to the current trace, changing Trace Time for fixed markers has no effect on Trace Select or other markers' Trace Time position.
