Control Menu
The menu starts and stops measurements in several ways. Some of the menu entries are duplicated in the Control Toolbar.
These operations affect the selected measurement unless noted otherwise.

Starts a meaurement or restarts one that was paused. Click this button and all current measurement data (including averaging) is discarded. |

Pauses a running measurement. A second click then single steps (when Sweep is set to ) or continues the measurement (when is set to ). |

Stops a measurement. Clears all measurement results, unlike Pause. |

|
|
Stop all communication between the VSA and measurement hardware for all measurements. (Source control is only affected by the Enable check box in the Control Tab (Source) dialog box). |
