Event Log Window
Event logging is a BETA feature for the software.
The Event Log window appears below the trace windows and is used to view events that occur when running Event-Based Actions with Log Events selected.
The Event Log has several columns:
Type
- Info - various information may be displayed (e.g. a rule's condition was satisfied; information about the event or actions performed)
- Warning - a rule was able to be checked, but the result may not be as expected
- Error - a rule was not able to be checked successfully
Rule - name of the rule that logged a message
Summary - short description of the event
Details - more detailed information about the event
Measurement - name of the measurement associated with the event
Timestamp - when data from hardware, system time of event; when data from recording, system time of event relative to system time when recording was created.
Offset - when data from hardware, offset (in seconds) from last measurement restart; when data from recording, offset from the t=0 time of the recording.
You can view the total number of entries in the log to the right of the message list, or you can clear the log by clicking the Clear button.
