Event Log Window

Event logging is a BETA feature for the software.

The Event Log window appears below the trace windows and is used to view events that occur when running Event-Based Actions with Log Events selected.

The Event Log has several columns:

Type

Rule - name of the rule that logged a message

Summary - short description of the event

Details - more detailed information about the event

Measurement - name of the measurement associated with the event

Timestamp - when data from hardware, system time of event; when data from recording, system time of event relative to system time when recording was created.

Offset - when data from hardware, offset (in seconds) from last measurement restart; when data from recording, offset from the t=0 time of the recording.

You can view the total number of entries in the log to the right of the message list, or you can clear the log by clicking the Clear button.
