Window Menu

The Window menu provides these selections to open specific VSA windows and configure trace layout:

This menu item…	Does this…

Block Diagram	Opens the Block Diagram Window, which is a left- to right-flowing visual representation of the VSA measurement setup.

Contexts	Opens the Contexts Window which contains controls for managing contexts.

Macros	Opens the Macros Window which contains buttons that run the macros loaded in the Macros dialog.

Markers	Opens the Markers Window which contains marker readouts for all markers in all visible traces.

Player	Opens the Player Window which can be used to control playback of a recorded signal.

Output	Opens the Output Window to view output from macros as well as the corresponding .NET API 1) Access Preamble Indicator, or 2) Application Programming Interface code if a VSA setting is changed.

Event Log	Opens the Event Log Window to view events that occur when running Event Based Actions.

S CPI Log	Opens the SCPI Log Window at the bottom of the trace window, which allows you to view SCPI commands sent to/from the VSA.

Create new Trace Window	Creates an empty Trace Window.

Collect Traces	Moves all traces for a measurement into the current window.

Trace Layout	Provides multiple selections for configuring how trace windows are arranged in the main window.

T race Resize	Evenly distributes the height and width of all trace windows docked in the main window.
