Frequency Error Compensation (802.15.4 HRP UWB)

Frequency Error Compensation enables or disables frequency error estimation and correction. Estimation has a lock range of about +/- 1 MHz Megahertz: A unit of frequency equal to one million hertz or cycles per second.. When this parameter is disabled, frequency error will still be estimated and corrected but with a much smaller lock range.

Default: Enabled

Estimate from - specifies whether to use the whole frame or just the SYNC portion in estimating frequency error. This setting is not applicable when Frequency Error Compensation is disabled.

The From Impairment Estimation parameter will affect how much of SYNC is used when SYNC is selected. From Impairment Estimation will not affect frequency error estimation when Entire Frame is selected.

Entire Frame - the entire frame is used for frequency error estimation.

SYNC - restricts the estimation of the frequency error to be based only on chips in the SYNC portion of the signal.

Default: Entire Frame
