Raw Main Time (802.15.4 HRP UWB)
shows the raw time data read from the input hardware or playback file for the selected channel.
The next demodulation step, resampling and time adjustment, is performed on Search Time trace.
and shown in theThis trace can be useful when trying to set up a measurement that uses channel trigger or IF Mag trigger because this trace includes the data that the input hardware used when deciding where to trigger.
Characteristics of this trace:
- The data has not had instrument calibration corrections applied, so the trace shows a "CAL?" trace message.
- The data has not gone through the VSA's software resampling filters, so is generally not sampled at the specified sample rate.
- The zero time point is where the instrument or the recording actually triggered.
Time (shown in the diagram below) will contain the part of the frame that is demodulated (which depends on the parameters).
