Transmit Mask (802.15.4 HRP UWB)

The Transmit Mask trace shows the spectrum of the signal with limit lines as defined by the standard (0 dBr is set to the maximum value within |f| ≤ 0.65 / Tp).

The Transmit Mask trace is calculated from the data in the Time trace and is computed by averaging multiple spectra to simulate a video bandwidth ≤ 1 kHz kiloHertz: A radio frequency measurement (one kilohertz = one thousand cycles per second).. The window used in computing the spectra is the Gaussian Top window.

A single measurement may not contain enough data to achieve a 1 kHz VBW. The VBW annotation in the trace indicates the actual video bandwidth. To simulate the desired VBW, increase the time length by analyzing a longer signal (for example, SYNC Length = 1024).

The Markers window displays the pass/fail status of the limit lines with 'X' and 'Y delta' information for each limit line segment.

Any part of the trace that fails the limit lines is drawn in red.
