Keysight Software Manager Utility

This button launches the Keysight Software Manager Utility, which is installed with the VSA software. The Keysight Software Manager Utility, along with the Keysight Software Manager website, enables you to easily manage the licenses for your VSA software. You can install licenses, transport licenses form one PC to another, and remove licenses that are no longer needed.

The Keysight Software Manager Utility displays the Host Name and Host ID. On an instrument, the Host IDs consist of a Keysight instrument model number and serial number. On a PC, the default model number is PCSERNO.

The Keysight Software Manager Utility can also be launched in Windows by clicking Start > Keysight Software Manager Utility.

Since the Keysight Software Manager Utility is a stand alone application, it has its own help system. For information on using the Keysight Software Manager Utility, click Help > Help Contents from within the application.

Keysight Software Manager Website

The Keysight Software Manager is a Keysight website that is used to manage your 89600 VSA software licenses and subscriptions. Using the website you can:

Register your licenses and subscriptions
Assign licenses (see the Keysight Software Manager Utility for Host Name and ID)
Remove licenses
