CSI Tab: DL Control Channel Parameters (LTE-Advanced)
Menu Path:
In the CSI-RS Channel State Information Reference Signal).
dialog's tab, you can set the parameters for the Channel State Information Reference Signal (CSI-RS
The following parameters are used to configure a single non-zero power CSI channel state information-RS transmission for the LTE Long Term Evolution signal being analyzed.
Active
When selected, the LTE demodulator expects there to be one non-zero power CSI-RS present in the signal and no zero-power CSI-RS.
Although the LTE standard allows there to be multiple CSI-RS configurations to be present (only one with non-zero power), the 89600 VSA does not support demodulating these signals.
Activating CSI-RS also enables the CSI-RS Info Table trace, which is located in the Trace > Data > CCx > MIMO Multiple Input, Multiple Output: A physical layer (PHY) configuration in which both transmitter and receiver use multiple antennas. trace menu.
Num. of Antenna Ports
Indicates the number of CSI-RS antenna ports being used by the CSI-RS transmission. This value is not restricted to the number of measurement channels since it is possible that all 8 CSI-RS antenna ports be transmitted on the same physical antenna.
Non-zero Power CSI-RS
This section sets the parameters for the CSI-RS transmission defined in the LTE signal.
Config. Index
Specifies the "CSI reference signal configuration" index, which along with
, determines the subcarrier/symbol location of CSI-RS within a subframe.Subframe Config. Index
Specifies the value of ICSI-RS which determines the CSI-RS subframe periodicity and offset according to Table 6.10.5.3-1 in 3GPP TS Technical Specification 36.211.
Power Boost (dB)
The
parameter specifies the power of CSI-RS relative to the average power of the LTE signal (see description of parameters in Basic tab topic).See Also
