SCMA Parameters (LTE Uplink)

The SCMA (Sparse Code Multiple Access) parameters are used to configure uplink SCMA measurements. The SCMA parameters are enabled only when Direction is set to Uplink and Multiple Access is set to SCMA.

Parameter	Description
Spreading Factor	Read-only field displaying the spreading factor specified in the imported codebook.
Codeword Size	Read-only field displaying the codeword size specified in the imported codebook.
Num. of Layers	Read-only field displaying the number of layers specified in the imported codebook.

Codebook

A codebook is needed from which to import the SCMA parameters (spreading factor, codeword size, number of layers and codebook vector).

Parameter	Description
Import...	Imports a .csv file that contains spreading factor, codeword size, number of layers and codebook vector.
Save...	Imports a .csv file that contains spreading factor, codeword size, number of layers and codebook vector.
View...	Displays the contents of the currently imported codebook.

Layer Enabled

Enables or disables SCMA layers. Layering is configured when a codebook is imported; however, you can manually enable or disable the imported layers as needed. The imported codebook specifies the number of layers 0-n.
