CRC Decode Max Iteration Count (LTE)

Default: 16

Range: 1 to 100

CRC Decode Max Iteration Count specifies the maximum number of LTE Long Term Evolution turbo decoder iterations to perform when determining a CRC Cyclic Redundancy Check pass result before returning a CRC fail result.

The default value of 16 is a reliable maximum number of LTE turbo decoder iterations for a wide range of coding cases.

If CRC pass is returned after the first iteration, then only 1 iteration is actually performed. If CRC decode does not pass after the specified maximum number of LTE turbo decoder iterations, then decoding is aborted and a CRC fail result is returned.
