Data EVM (LTE)

Data EVM shows the Root Mean Square (RMS) average of the EVMs for all user channel allocations (whether or not they are selected in Composite Include). User channel allocations are defined as PDSCH Physical Downlink Shared Channel for downlink or PUSCH Physical Uplink Shared Channel, PUCCH Physical Uplink Control Channel, and SRS Signaling Reference Signal for uplink.

Data EVM is calculated over all symbol-times in the Measurement Interval.

Data EVM and 3GPP-defined EVM summary table results may not exactly match since the standard requires that 3GPP-defined EVM Error vector magnitude (EVM): A quality metric in digital communication systems. See the EVM metric in the Error Summary Table topic in each demodulator for more information on how EVM is calculated for that modulation format. be calculated per slot and then averaged over the measurement interval whereas all other EVM results computed by the LTE Long Term Evolution demodulator are calculated per symbol and then averaged over the measurement interval.
