RSEVM (LTE)

RSEVM shows the average error vector magnitude of the cell-specific reference signal for each C-RS Cell-specific RS/Rx path and is calculated from the data in the Measurement Interval.

The C-RS subcarrier EVMs are calculated and expressed relative to the average power of the signal. Then the EVMs are RMS averaged, and the result is expressed in dB or percentage depending on the Report EVM in dB parameter.

RSEVM is calculated with a Symbol Timing Adjust setting of EVM Window Center. When Symbol Timing Adjust is set to a value other than EVM Window Center, RSEVM may not match the corresponding C-RS EVM Error vector magnitude (EVM): A quality metric in digital communication systems. See the EVM metric in the Error Summary Table topic in each demodulator for more information on how EVM is calculated for that modulation format. in the Frame Summary table.
