PDF (LTE)

PDF is the Probability Density Function of the signal. PDF 1) Probability Density Function Trace Data, or 2) Portable Document Format (PDF) created by Adobe Systems is an open standard for document exchange. shows a normalized histogram of the data in the Measurement Interval.

A marker placed on the PDF trace will show the probability that the voltage of a randomly chosen data sample will be the voltage shown on the marker +/- (x-axis delta)/2.

The marker values below indicate that there is a 0.046875% probability that an randomly chosen data sample has an amplitude in the range [108.53 mV, 109.03 mV). Note the difference in brackets. Voltages halfway between trace points are included in the voltage range for upper point.

This trace will continue to accumulate data until the measurement is restarted.
