PSDU Info Data (MB-OFDM)
trace provides information on the PSDU 1) PHY Service Data Unit, or 2) PLCP SDU (payload) part of the MB-OFDM Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing: OFDM employs multiple overlapping radio frequency carriers, each operating at a carefully chosen frequency that is Orthogonal to the others, to produce a transmission scheme that supports higher bit rates due to parallel channel operation. OFDM is an alternative tranmission scheme to DSSS and FHSS. packet.
The Decode PSDU checkbox in the Advanced Tab of the dialog box must be selected for trace to be available.
includes the following:
- FCS Frame check sequence Status (Frame Check Sequence status) is used to determine if the PSDU has been decoded correctly. The status will be reported as OK or Failed.
- FCS Data (Frame Check Sequence data) is the raw FCS bits in hex.
- Data part of the decoded PSDU (payload) bits.
