RSCTE (NB-IoT)

RSCTE shows the average magnitude of the common tracking error calculated from the narrowband reference signal for each NRS/Rx path. RSCTE is computed by calculating the common tracking error for the NRS subcarriers and then rms averaging the errors.

RSCTE is calculated from the data in the Measurement Interval.

RSCTE is expressed as a percentage of the ideal signal, which has a common tracking error of 1. See the Common Tracking Error trace topic for more information.

RSCTE is calculated with a Symbol Timing Adjust setting of EVM Window Center. When Symbol Timing Adjust is set to a value other than EVM Window Center, RSCTE may not match the corresponding Common Tracking Error data results in the Error Summary table and Common Tracking Error trace.
