Error Vector Unit (5G NR/5G-Advanced)

The Error Vector Unit parameters set the units used to measure and display EVM Error vector magnitude (EVM): A quality metric in digital communication systems. See the EVM metric in the Error Summary Table topic in each demodulator for more information on how EVM is calculated for that modulation format. results in the Error Vector Spectrum, Error Vector Time, RMS Error Vector Spectrum and RMS Error Vector Time traces.

Time Domain - Sets the unit for the time domain part of error vector data used in the Error Vector Spectrum and Error Vector Time traces.

Per Symbol - (default) Sets the time domain unit to symbol. This is the legacy time domain unit used for calculating and rendering the data displayed on the Error Vector Spectrum and Error Vector Time traces.

Per Slot - Sets the time domain unit to slot.

Per Subframe - Sets the time domain unit to subframe.

Freq Domain - Sets the unit for the frequency domain part of error vector data used in the Error Vector Spectrum and Error Vector Time traces.

Per Subcarrier - (default) Sets the frequency domain unit to subcarrier.

Per RB - Sets the frequency domain unit to RB (Resource Block), where a resource block consists of 12 contiguous subcarriers.

All REs - Sets the frequency domain unit to all REs in the carrier.
