Input Extensions (N6841A)

For the N6841A, the only parameter available is InputPort.

InputPort is useful for setting the input port of the N6841A. There are 2 switchable RF Radio Frequency: A generic term for radio-based technologies, operating between the Low Frequency range (30k Hz) and the Extra High Frequency range (300 GHz). Input ports on the N6841A, which, for example, is useful for connecting antennas of different frequency ranges. In addition, InputPort can be set to a test value, in which the N6841A RF Sensor internally generates a CW signal every 56 MHz Megahertz: A unit of frequency equal to one million hertz or cycles per second.. Finally, InputPort can be set to a termination value, where the input behaves as if it were terminated.

The InputPort values are as follows:

To specify InputPort, follow these steps:

  1. Be sure that the N6841A is selected as the Current Analyzer Configuration
  2. Click Input > Extensions

  3. Click in the InputPort text box
  4. Type in the InputPort value (0 - 3)
  5. Click OK
