Keysight Oscilloscope Overview

The 89600 VSA software supports the following Keysight Oscilloscopes:

• Keysight InfiniiVision Series
• Keysight Infiniium Series

There are several factors to consider in using oscilloscopes as the Measurement Hardware:

• Analog bandwidth can affect the signal by slowing the rise time and by attenuating the amplitude. It is important to determine the required analog bandwidth for your particular application.
• The Sampling technique used depends on the type of signal (repetitive or not). For Real Time sampling, the best resolution between points is the inverse of the sample rate.
• Deep memory options are available in some oscilloscopes. Deeper memory enables longer periods of time to be captured while maintaining a high sample rate.
• Oscilloscopes can offer multiple channel measurements. The 89600 VSA software can make up to 4 channel measurements with selected scopes.
