Keysight Infiniium Oscilloscopes

The 89600 VSA software supports a wide variety of Keysight Infiniium series oscilloscopes. In this VSA configuration, the oscilloscope is the measurement hardware "front end" data acquisition subsystem for the measurement. This VSA measurement hardware configuration offers broadband vector signal analyzer measurements up to 110 GHz Gigahertz: A frequency measurement which equals one billion hertz. of analysis bandwidth (DSO/DSAZ634A).

Measurement Differences

See LAN/GPIB Connection Problems for help with potential problems, such as long startup times or unexpected behavior.

The Demod: Not enough data. (Measurement step 'Demod' encountered this error) Error Message may appear if the current hardware setup could not acquire enough time samples to complete the requested Digital Demodulation measurement.

UXR-Series Infiniium Oscilloscopes and Variable Length Segmented Capture

The VSA software supports variable length segmented capture (VLSC) with Keysight UXR-Series Infiniium oscilloscopes. UXR firmware requirements are as follows:

When using UXR-Series scopes in measurements with count-based VLSC, sometimes the acquired number of segments can be 1 less than the requested number of segments even when there is enough memory on the scope to capture all segments. To ensure that the requested number of segments are captured, start the acquisition from the VSA software before starting the signal generation you wish to acquire.
