IQ Normalize (TEDS)

, when selected, applies IQ normalization to the TEDS demodulated signal measurements and includes a symbol overlay (circles and crosshairs) on your constellation diagrams.
IQ normalization corrects for uneven gain in the I/Q path of the TEDS transmitter modulator by normalizing (scaling) the demodulated trace data to a nominal value of 1. The demodulated TEDS data is mapped onto this unit circle by selecting a scaling factor that minimizes the error over all states by choosing a scaling factor to minimize the overall error. When you select and the trace is a vector or constellation diagram, the trace shows crosses or circles at the ideal constellation locations. Clear the checkbox to remove IQ normalization from your signal measurements and analysis.
