Enable DTX/Burst Detection (W-CDMA(3GPP)/HSPA)

Default: Clear (Downlink)
Selected (Uplink) (See W-CDMA(3GPP) Standard Setups/Presets Table.)

DTX Burst Detection is used to detect and perform correct measurement analysis on "Discontinuous Transmission" channels. DTX Discontinuous Transmission: A feature in mobile systems where transmitters mute when there is no information to send, such as during periods of silence. This feature prolongs battery life in portable phones and reduces interference in wireless systems. measurement analysis mode affects all the Channel trace data results and not the Composite trace data results unless the measurement data includes a partially transmitted frame in a channel.

Clear (default for Downlink):   DTX Burst Detection is off.

Selected (default for Uplink):   DTX Burst Detection is on. Select DTX Burst Detection if your signal includes DTX channels.

It is recommended selecting DTX Burst Detection mode to measure DTX signals and to clear DTX Burst Detection mode for non-DTX signals.
