tHS-DPCCH specifies the time offset (muliples of x256 chips) of the HS-DPCCH Dedicated Physical Control Channel (uplink) for HS-DSCH slot within the code channel. The HS-DPCCH Dedicated Physical Control Channel channel is an uplink physical channel with fixed spreading factor 256 and can only occupy the following four possible code channel and branch locations; 1(I),32(Q),33(Q) and 64(Q).

is valid for HSPA Uplink direction signals only.

Use the following tHS-DPCCH properties to specify the HS-DPCCH time offset:

Code Location: Select one of the available code channels
- S256(1):I (SF 1) Spreading Factor, or 2) service flow: A unidirectional flow of medium access control (MAC) service data units (SDUs) on a connection that is provided a particular Quailty of Service (QoS). 256, Code Ch 1, I branch)
- S256(32):Q (SF 256, Code Ch 32, Q branch)
- S256(33):Q (SF 256, Code Ch 32, Q branch)
- S256(34):Q (SF 256, Code Ch 32, Q branch)
Value: Specifies the time offset in multiples x256 chips. The offset value can only be changed for the channel measurements and not for the composite measurements.

The Despread Channel (Spread Code Length and Code Channel) must equal the Code Location for the offset Value to be selectable.
