The IEEE developed the 802 series wired and wireless LAN standards. Visit the IEEE at http://www.ieee.org 802.11b/g Demod Properties dialog box specifies a reference filter to be used in demodulation. The IEEE 802.11b standard has some unique requirements and measurement implications concerning filter selection. To learn more about filtering, see the Filtering Concepts topic.

When a Gaussian reference filter is specified, the BT Bandwidth Time Product (Bandwidth Time Product) can be set for the filter to a value between 0.05 and 100. The default is 0.5.
When a Raised Cosine reference filter is specified, the Alpha can be set for the filter to a value between 0.05 and 1. The default is 0.5.
