Allocation Signaling Table (802.11n/ac/ax/be/bn)
The Allocation Signaling Table (802.11ax/be) displays the configured bands and the Allocation Signaling (RU Allocation subfield) selection for each band when SIG B Compression Field (802.11ax) or Compression Mode (Non-OFDMA) (802.11be/bn) is disabled. An HE band may have one (20 MHz Megahertz: A unit of frequency equal to one million hertz or cycles per second.-wide band), two (40 MHz-wide band), four (80 MHz-wide band) or eight (80+80 MHz and 160 MHz-wide bands) 20 MHz allocations.
Band Index – indices are filtered by two factors: the selected Band Expansion option and the number of measurement channels. Only the eligible one(s) is (are) displayed as Allocation Signaling choices.
Allocation Signaling – indices are filtered by two factors: the selected Band Expansion option and the number of measurement channels. Only the eligible one(s) is (are) displayed as Allocation Signaling choices. Click Edit Band... to edit a subband's allocation signaling in the Multi-User Settings Editor.
Edit Band... – Opens a Multi-User Settings Editor that is specific to compression mode.
Enable All RUs – enables every RU in every band. This is a good starting point when a configuration has many or all RUs enabled.
Disable All RUs – disables every RU in every band. This is a good starting point when a configuration has only a few enabled RUs.
DRU Configuration Examples
In each of these examples, you would Disable All RUs, configure the Allocation Signaling for each 20 MHz subband, and set the Include checkbox for the appropriate (highlighted) RU.
DRU6-26 in 40 MHz
| Band Index | Allocation Signaling | RU Index 0-8 | DRU Equivalent |
| 0 (20 MHz subband 1) | 000000000 | [26][26][26][26][26][26][26][26][26] | [DRU1][DRU2][DRU3][DRU4][DRU5][DRU6][DRU7][DRU8][DRU9] |

DRU3-106 in 80 MHz
| Band Index | Allocation Signaling | RU Index 0-2 | DRU Equivalent* |
| 0 (20 MHz subband 1) | 000011001 | [106][26][106] | [DRU1][--][DRU2] |
| 1 (20 MHz subband 2) | 000011001 | [106][26][106] | [DRU3][--][DRU4] |
| 2 (20 MHz subband 3) | 000011001 | [106][26][106] | [DRU5][--][DRU6] |
| 3 (20 MHz subband 4) | 000011001 | [106][26][106] | [DRU7][--][DRU8] |
* [--] means that there is no DRU equivalent for RU Index 1 (Include should be unchecked).
