Walsh Code Length - CDP Layer (1xEV-DO)

Default: 32 for ForwardLink and 16 for ReverseLink (See 1xEV-DO Standard Setups/Presets Table.)

Range: 4 to 128 (ForwardLink) and 2 to 32 (ReverseLink)

CDP Layer Walsh Code Length selects the active code domain layer (Walsh code length) for the code domain power CDP Layer and CDE Layer trace data results. Available choices depend upon the link Direction, Analysis Channel and CDP Channel type.

This parameter has no other effect except for the display of the CDP Layer and CDE Layer trace data.

Selecting a CDP Layer Walsh Code Length

The CDP Layer provides a drop-down list of available 1xEV-DO compliant Walsh Code Lengths.

Chip Rate: 1.2288 MHz Megahertz: A unit of frequency equal to one million hertz or cycles per second.

Forward Link(Data/Pilot/MAC (Medium Access Control: In most wired and wireless networks, a mthod is used to control how and when a device can transmit data over the communications link. This is the network's Medium Access Control scheme. The MAC protocol operates within the Data Link layer (Layer 2) of the ISO OSI 7 layer Model. The IEEE 802.11 standard, for example, specifies the MAC protocol for sharing of the wireless medium, packet formats, addressing, eror detection and recovery following errors.)
