About Channel 1 Chan Trace Data (1xEVDO)

Time domain trace data results for a single code channel (Walsh Code Number) within a specified code layer (Walsh Code Length/Symbol Rate) for reverse direction channels only. This includes both time domain IQ trace data and Symbol/Error table data.

For 1xEV-DO demodulation, the Chan Trace Data is only available for Reverse link direction channels.

For 1xEV-DO reverse link, the "I" and "Q" branches are logically separate signals. All channel trace data results contain both I and Q branch data, except symbol table trace data. The symbol table shows either the "I" symbol bits or the "Q" symbol bits as determined by the I/Q branch setting.

Selecting a Code Channel

You specify the code channel in the Despread Channel Walsh Code Number drop down list and the code layer in the Despread Channel Walsh Code Length drop down list (click MeasSetup > 1xEV-DO Demod Properties > Channel/Layer tab).

You can use the Copy Mkr To Despread Chan marker feature to automatically enter the Spread Code Length and Code Channel information for you.
