Command Syntax

:MEASure:HORizontal:BWIDth:BIDLe <idle_time>

<idle_time> is the burst idle time as a real number.

Query Syntax

:MEASure:HORizontal:BWIDth:BIDLe?

Description

This command specifies the idle time for the Burst Width measurement (:MEASure:HORizontal:BWIDth.

For signal activity to be considered a burst, the signal must be idle for at least the specified amount of time both before and after the activity. Idle periods are portions of the waveform where the signal does not exceed the upper or lower thresholds.

Idle time can be counted in any region, as long as the whole idle period occurs in that region.
