Timeout

The Timeout trigger mode triggers when a waveform is above the threshold, below the threshold, or not crossed the threshold (meaning either above of below the threshold) for longer that a specified amount of time.

The Timeout trigger mode is the same as the Pulse Width trigger mode when its Trigger Condition is set to > Time on Timeout.

  • Source — Select one of the analog input channels.

  • Level — Enter the threshold level, use the increase, 50%, or decrease buttons, or turn the front panel Trigger Level knob.

  • Trigger Condition — Specifies the type of timeout:

    • High Too Long — Triggers when the waveform is above the threshold level for longer than the specified > Time.
    • Low Too Long — Triggers when the waveform is below the threshold level for longer than the specified > Time.
    • Unchanged Too Long — Triggers when the waveform has not crossed the threshold level for longer than the specified > Time.
