Signal Capture

The Signal Capture setup pane is comprised of two buttons and two tabs located at the top of the page.

• Click a button in the graphic below to link to the button description.

• Click a tab in the graphic below to link to the settings descriptions for the tab.

The tabs are:

General Settings is used to set up the signal capture block.

Trigger Settings is used to set up the trigger settings for signal capture.

The name of the block (in this case, Signal Capture: 1) is displayed at the top of the setup pane. This name was assigned when the configuration was selected. When the name is selected, additional choices, including a selection to show or hide the Hints area, are displayed.

Restore Default Settings returns the baseband generator settings to their default values. This has the same function as the button described below.

Show Hints will show or hide the Hints area below the parameter descriptions of each tab. The check mark at the left of Show Hints indicates that the hints are currently displayed.

Block Diagram displays the current configuration block diagram. This has the same function as the button described below.

There are also two buttons located immediately below the capture name. The following is a description of each button:

• Restore Default Settings returns the capture settings to their default values.

• Copy Paste allows you to quickly duplicate settings from one resource to another like resource.
