Troubleshooting Simultaneous Services

This section only applies to the lab application.

• Ensure that GPRS Radio Access Bearer is set to one of the following settings:
  • 64k PS Data RAB
  • 64k UL/384k DL PS Data RAB
  • HSUPA UL / HSDPA DL PS (with a specific restriction on SRB Mapping Mode)

    3GPP TS 25.213, section 4.2.1 places a restriction on the maximum data throughput allowed for Simultaneous Service connections at 2 Mbps.

    The 3GPP supported configuration for simultaneous services, is therefore to use a 10 ms TTI 2 Mbps HSUPA UL configuration only.

    This supported 3GPP configuration in the test set requires an SRB Mapping mode of DCH/DCH to support both HSUPA Data and Voice simultaneously.

• Ensure that Compressed Mode is disabled. This setting can be enabled or disabled while simultaneous services are active.
• Ensure that Soft Handover State is Off. This setting can be enabled or disabled while simultaneous services are active.
