Setting IV and CV Test Parameters

In general, set the test parameters based on the specifications in the device's data sheet:

• Whenever the data sheet lists a maximum test limit for a parameter, use that value.
• If the data sheet does not provide a maximum test limit, use a typical value for the test parameter.

For example, suppose that you are testing a FET device and the data sheet shows the following Id-Vds output characteristic:

You would then set the PD1000A Id-Vds test parameters as shown in the following example:
