Override IDCell with PermBase (802.16 OFDMA)

Default: Cleared (See OFDMA Standard Presets Table.)

(applies to Downlink only)

Override IDCell with PermBasespecifies how the DL Down Link (forward link: from base station to cell phone)-PermBase value is determined for downlink subframe analysis.

Selected: The DL-Perm Base is manually specified in the text box.

Cleared: The DL-PermBase value is forced to match the IDCell value (which may be derived from the Preamble Index).

For DL-PUSC Zone Definition analysis, the Override IDCell with PermBase parameter is ignored for Zone Number equal to 1 given that the first DL-PUSC zone is assumed to have a DL_PermBase value equal to 0.

DL_PermBase is a term in the 802.16 standard which indicates the PermBase value used by a specific DL zone. In earlier versions of the standard, there was no distinction between IDCell for the frame and IDCell for a specific zone. By switching to the term DL_PermBase, the standard aimed to make the difference more apparent.
