Preamble Index (802.16 OFDMA)

Preamble Index specifies the preamble sequence for the downlink subframe.

To correctly demodulate the pilots and synchronize to the downlink subframe, the Preamble Index must be associated with the proper IDCell and Segment values. Override Preamble Definition determines what IDCell and Segment values are used by the VSA.
