Reference (Advanced-Radar/Hopping)
Menu Path:
Reference specifies the signal detection threshold reference.
When Use First Chan for Reference is enabled (true), the first measurement channel will be used as the reference for calculating Threshold.
-
Relative To Top Level (Default Setting)
-
Allows you to specify the desired Detection Threshold (dBm deciBels referenced to a milliWatt: dB relative to 1 milliwatt dissipated in the nominal input impedance of the analyzer) level as a relative Threshold (dB) offset from the measured acquisition Top Level (dBm) observed over the entire Acquisition Length (s). The measured acquisition Top Level (dBm) result is reported in the Pulse Summary results able.
-
-
Relative To Base Level
-
Allows you to specify the desired Detection Threshold (dBm) level as a relative Threshold (dB) offset from the measured acquisition Base Level (dBm) observed over the entire Acquisition Length (s). The measured acquisition Base Level (dBm) result is reported in Pulse Summary results table.
when
-
-
Relative to Range
-
Allows you to specify the desired Detection Threshold (dBm) level as a relative Threshold (dB) offset from the currently selected Input Range (dBm) level.
-
-
Absolute
-
Allows you to specify the desired Detection Threshold (dBm) level directly, as an absolute Threshold (dBm) level.
The Use First Chan for Reference parameter does not affect calculation when Absolute is selected as the threshold Reference.
