AM/PM Skew (GSM/EDGE/EDGE Evolution)
AM Amplitude Modulation - CW modulation using amplitude variation in proportion to the amplitude of the modulating signal. Usually taken as DSB-LC for commercial broadcast transmissions and DSB-SC for multiplexed systems./PM Skew displays the time difference between the Amplitude Modulation and Phase Modulation parts of the signal.
When Burst Sync Mode is set to , the demodulator synchronizes separately to the phase and magnitude parts of the training sequence. Any timing difference between the phase and magnitude parts of the training sequence will be displayed in the AM/PM Skew data result.
This parameter is only calculated when Burst Sync Mode is set to and is not calculated for bursts (since has constant amplitude).
