TSC (GSM/EDGE/EDGE Evolution)

TSC displays the training sequence code index(es) for the demodulated burst (determined by the Timeslot parameter). The TSC is autodetected when TSC Index is set to Auto Select.

For AQPSK modulation, TSC displays two values. Each value is of the form SetX-n, where X is the set number and n is the TSC index in that set. Subchannel A uses TSC values from Set 1 and Subchannel B uses values from Set 1 or Set 2.

Programmatically Querying the Summary Table

When querying the Summary Table through the VSA API 1) Access Preamble Indicator, or 2) Application Programming Interface, the value for the TSC metric for AQPSK modulation is in the following form:

AaaBbb

where A and B are the TSC sets for subchannels A and B, respectively

aa and bb are the TSC codes within the sets for subchannels A and B, respectively

For other modulation types, the value for TSC is a single number.
