About Default Bit Mappings (Flex Frame)

Menu Path: MeasSetup > Flex Frame Properties... > Frame Definition > Modulation > Preferred Bit To Symbol Mapping

When you set Preferred Bit To Symbol Mapping to Default, the VSA uses non-standard-specific bit mapping. The VSA software includes mapping files for each Modulation type, which you can recall in Keysight N7608C Signal Studio Pro for Custom Modulation to make sure your created signals have the appropriate constellation mapping. These files are located in the following default installation directory:
