Same as Input (Input Analog Tab)

The Same as Input parameter controls how the Reference Impedance is determined for the selected Logical Channel.

Selected: The analyzer automatically sets the Reference Impedance to the Connection impedance parameter value.

Cleared: The analyzer allows you to manually specify the Reference Impedance value.

The Reference Impedance is used to calculate the power in dBm deciBels referenced to a milliWatt: dB relative to 1 milliwatt dissipated in the nominal input impedance of the analyzer, see Reference Impedance.

This parameter can be selected for All channels or individually for each available channel. The available channels are displayed in Logical Channel located at the top of the dialog box. If the selections for individual channels are different, the arrow button () after the Same as Input checkbox will be orange. Click the arrow button to view the Same as Input selection (True for selected and False for cleared) for each available channel.
