Input Impedance (Input Analog Tab)

Menu Path: Input > Analog

The Input Impedance parameter specifies the measurement hardware input termination impedance for the selected Logical Channel. The Input Impedance drop-down list will only provide impedance terminations that apply to the current measurement hardware. For a list of supported hardware, see Measurement Hardware.

Input Impedance specifies the physical input impedance and terminating circuit of the measurement hardware. This setting should match the output impedance of DUT Device under Test: An acronym used to describe some type of electrical apparatus connected to test instrumentation. The apparatus can range from a single component to a complex subsystem such as a mobile phone, base station or MSC.. For more information about using Input Impedance and Reference Impedance , see Reference Impedance.

This parameter can be selected for All channels or individually for each available channel. The available channels are displayed in Logical Channel located at the top of the dialog box. If the selections for individual channels are different, the arrow button () after the Input Impedance text box will be orange. Click the arrow button to view the Input Impedance selection for each available channel.
