Demod Bits (802.15.4 HRP UWB)

The Demod Bits trace shows the bits for each symbol after demodulation. The first bit in the table corresponds to the first bit of the first symbol.

You can use Equalization Enabled for troubleshooting. Disable it to see what the bits are on the Demod Bits and Decoded Bits traces without compensating the channel.

For BPRF/BPM-BPSK Binary phase shift keying - A type of phase modulation using 2 distinct carrier phases to signal ones and zeros., a symbol consists of a burst (length determined by Chips per Burst) that is located either in the first or last half of the symbol. Each symbol represents two bits. The first bit is determined by the position of the burst and the second bit is determined by the polarity of the burst.

For HPRF, a symbol consists of a sequence of bursts (either 2 or 4), each burst being followed by a guard period of equal length. Each symbol represents two bits. Both bits are determined by the polarity of the bursts.
