Power Detection Threshold (LTE)

Menu Path: MeasSetup > LTE Demod Properties... > Profile tab

Default: -15 dB

Range: -100 to 100 dB

Power Det. Threshold sets the threshold for RB Resource Block power detection mode when RB Auto Detect is enabled and RB AutoDetect Mode is set to Power-based.

Power Detection Theshold is available for both Downlink and Uplink; however, the meaning of threshold is different for each.

For Downlink, if the threshold is -15dB, it means all RBs whose power is higher than the CRS power by -15dB are detected as active.

For Uplink, if the threshold is -15dB, we first detect the peak RB power, then all RBs whose power is higher than the peak RB power by -15dB are detected as active.
