IQ Gain Imbalance (LTE)

IQ Gain Imbalance indicates the amount of amplifier gain imbalance between I and Q. For example, a value of -6.02 dB means the Q signal is being amplified twice as much as the I signal. This measurement is expressed in dB and calculated over the data in the Measurement Interval.

For MIMO Multiple Input, Multiple Output: A physical layer (PHY) configuration in which both transmitter and receiver use multiple antennas. signals, IQ Gain Imbalance is shown on the MIMO Info Table under the IQGainImb data result. The IQ Gain Imbalance data result on the Error Summary Table will show "---" for multi-antenna signals.

The Measurement Interval must be longer than one symbol and contain at least one pair of subcarriers that are symmetric about DC for IQ Gain Imbalance to be calculated.
