SymClk Err (LTE)

SymClk Error shows the frequency error between the measured signal's symbol clock and the reference symbol clock in parts-per-million (ppm). The error is calculated by averaging the symbol timing corrections during the Measurement Interval.

SymClk Error is calculated from the reference measurement channel for downlink signals.

A value of 0.010 ppm indicates that the measured signal's symbol clock frequency is slower than the reference symbol clock frequency by 0.000 000 01 * RefSymClk.

The Time Scale Factor parameter can be used to correct the signal for symbol clock errors. A value of -20 ppm could be corrected by setting the time scale factor to 1.000 020.
