Selected Pulses (Pulse)

Menu Path: MeasSetup > Pulse Properties > Time

Specifies the time sample portion associated with the current acquisition detected signal pulses made available for viewing within the synchronized Amplitude, Phase, and FM Frequency Modulation versus time trace results.

Select All Pulses
- All valid pulse detections, limited to Maximum Pulse Count if enabled, are reported within synchronized Amplitude, Phase, and FM versus time trace results
Select Subset
- Only a selected range of valid pulse detections are reported within synchronized Amplitude, Phase, and FM versus time trace results, as determined by user specified Starting Pulse and Number of Pulses parameters.
  - Starting Pulse
    - Selects the first detected pulse index to include within the synchronized time trace results .
  - Number of Pulses
    - Selects the number of valid detected pulses to include within the synchronized time trace results .
Sub-Part Selection
- You can choose to limit the displayed time sample portion within the synchronized Amplitude, Phase, and FM versus time trace results to the following selected pulse range sub-part samples.
  - Entire Pulse: Displays time trace results for the entire pulse Rise /Top /Fall time samples. Trace highlighting includes Rise / Top / Fall, plus Ripple Analysis samples.
  - On Part: Displays time trace results for On part time samples only. Trace highlighting is limited to On part samples only.
  - Top Part: Displays time trace results for Top part time samples only. Trace highlighting limited to Top part samples only.
  - Frequency / Phase Analysis: Displays time trace results for user specified Frequency / Phase Analysis Width time samples only. Trace highlighting is limited to Frequency / Phase Analysis Width samples only.
  - Ripple Analysis: Displays time trace results for the specified Ripple Analysis Width time samples only. Trace highlighting is limited to Ripple Analysis Width samples only.
  - Pulse-to-Pulse Analysis: Displays time trace results for user specified Pulse-to-Pulse Analysis time samples only. Trace highlighting limited to Pulse-to-Pulse Analysis samples only.
  - Rising Edge: Displays time trace results for Rising Edge analysis time samples only, as determined from the specified Lower (%) and Upper (%) Rising Time Thresholds. Trace highlighting is limited to Rising Edge analysis samples only.
  - Falling Edge: Displays time trace results for Falling Edge analysis time samples only, as determined from the specified Lower (%) and Upper (%) Falling Time Thresholds. Trace highlighting is limited to Falling Edge analysis samples only.

Default Settings:
- Default selection (Selected Pulses): Select All Pulses
- Default value (Starting Pulse): 1
- Default value (Number of Pulses): 1
- Default selection (Sub-Part Selection): Entire Pulse
