Number of Tx Antennas (W-CDMA(3GPP)/HSPA)

Default: 1 (See W-CDMA(3GPP) Standards Setups/Presets Table.)

Number of Tx Antennas parameter specifies the number of transmit antennas used by the device under test. Select 2 (or more) Tx Antennas to enables MIMO Multiple Input, Multiple Output: A physical layer (PHY) configuration in which both transmitter and receiver use multiple antennas. transmission analysis.

Number of Tx Antennas 1 MIMO transmission analysis is not performed.
Number of Tx Antennas 2 MIMO tranmission analysis is performed.

1)  The Number of Tx Antennas parameter is only available when Downlink Direction and Enable HSPA Analysis is selected.

2)  The MIMO Parameters on the Demod Properties Advanced tab are only available for Downlink HSPA+MIMO signal analysis.

3)  MIMO Anaysis Mode: To configure the VSA for HSPA+MIMO analysis, select Downlink direction, Enable HSPA analysis and specify Number of Tx Antennas for 2 (or more).
