Manual (802.11n/ac/ax/be)
Number of Spatial Streams

The VSA uses the value selected in the Manual text box as the Number of Spatial Streams in the signal and ignores the number of spatial streams detected within the burst.

This setting should only be used as a last resort when both Automatic and From SIG Symbols selections fail to correctly identify the number of spatial sreams in a signal. Manually specifying the number of spatial streams supports only single-spatial-stream (Nss = 1) and square MIMO Multiple Input, Multiple Output: A physical layer (PHY) configuration in which both transmitter and receiver use multiple antennas. (Nss = Nt) signals, while Automatic and From SIG Symbols support any number of streams.
