4. Keysight IO Libraries Suite

Ensure that you have Keysight IO Libraries Suite 15.5 or later installed on the Windows PC that is to receive the Signal Optimizer software download. If you're not sure, expand the hidden icons on the Windows Task Bar, click the IO Libraries Suite icon if it exists, and select About Keysight IO Libraries Suite to check the version. If it is already installed, proceed to the next installation step. If not, install the IO Libraries as follows:

1. Download the Keysight IO Libraries Suite 15.5 or later, free of charge, from the Keysight website at: http://www.keysight.com/find/iolib. After the IO Libraries Suite has been successfully installed, you will see the IO Control (IO icon) in the Windows notification area on your PC screen.

2. Click Connection Expert (IO Config in older versions) from the IO icon, if it does not run automatically. This utility automatically detects most interfaces and instruments, and assigns names and other default configuration settings. (You can edit these default settings if necessary.) Refer to the Keysight IO Libraries Suite documentation for more information.
