How to Perform a Coax Calibration

For coax and waveguide sample holders, the calibration is performed in the Network Analyzer.  For FieldFox customers, this is the only alternative, as Freespace Calibration is NOT supported with the FieldFox.

Use the following general procedure to perform a Coax calibration:

1. Setup start and stop frequency, number of points, power, and IFBW  in the N1500A software. Learn how.

2. Perform the cal in the network analyzer, save it and turn ON correction.

3. Trigger the measurement in the N1500A software. Learn how.
